Community Involvement

What does community involvement mean to ALAS?

Our club is not only dedicated to providing resources and information educationally at school, but is also devoted to involving ALAS members in local communities. From hosting book drives for migrant children to volunteering at the city's carnival, OA ALAS has paved the way in shaping the community inside and outside of school campus in the best way possible.

ALAS has not only become an important platform at Oxford Academy that educates on Hispanic Culture, but that also allows the Latinx students at Oxford Academy an opportunity to meet new people with a similar background. We have become an extended family to many members, we empower and help out our members.
